Latasha Barr Lewis is a nationally recognized educator and advocate. With over 20 years of experience in education and parent advocacy, she has worked to help parents, communities, and employers reimagine the possibilities for individuals with disabilities. She knows first-hand the obstacles parents and caregivers face raising children with challenges, as she is the mother of two teenage sons with varying ability levels. Her oldest son is a computer and technology enthusiast and is on the autism spectrum. Her youngest son is an entrepreneur and is impacted by a traumatic brain injury. To help her sons find success, Latasha created a systematic approach to development that isolates and assesses emotions, behaviors, and learning to identify small processes that can be modified to produce significant results. Using this process, Latasha has worked with parents across the country using her signature H.O.P.E. Journal to create parenting and education strategies.
